Sumayyah runs as a full academy for Grades 1–8, and as an after-school academy of single subjects and short courses. The same teachers, the same record of the work.

Sumayyah is your child’s school. Core academics, Qur’an and character, and future skills in one timetable, taught live and practised at home.

Your child keeps their school. Sumayyah adds the subject support and the skills their school day has no room for, in cohorts, one-to-one, or a short course.

The weekly cycle
Five movements carry every subject from guided teaching to visible evidence, whether your child takes eight subjects or one.
A live lesson places the Qur’an, the text, the number or the idea in context, taught by someone who knows the child.
A purposeful home mission turns the lesson into something the child can do without the teacher in the room.
Children explain their thinking, are challenged on it, and take correction while it still matters.
Writing, building, an experiment or a recording becomes evidence, and the evidence goes into the Portfolio Passport.
The week closes at the showcase, with a teacher’s note on what improved and one clear next step.
The journey
Each band asks something different of a child. Placement follows what your child can do, not only the year they were born in.
Grades 1–2
Warm routines, phonics, number sense, du‘a and stories that make learning feel safe and worth turning up for.
Grades 3–4
Fluent reading, expressive writing, mental mathematics and the confidence to explain a process out loud.
Grades 5–6
Projects, coding, research and respectful debate move a child from consuming what others made to making their own.
Grades 7–8
Independent study, leadership and pre-secondary habits come together in a portfolio a child can stand behind.
